We have designed pivique Astrology so that you will have as few problems as possible with installation and also with any changes you may decide to make.


 Windows

Pivique Astrology is supplied with an installer for Windows (setup.exe), which you can find in the directory

   .../pivique/astrology

 MacIntosh,    Linux and other operating systems

You can also install pivique Astrology without any particular setup program. Therefore transfer the file *.cab from the subdirectory

     .../pivique/astrology/bin

into the directory

     /Windows/Start Menu

of your Pocket PC. Afterwards you call up the file from the start menu in order to install the program.
If you are not able to transfer this file directly from your Desktop PC try a detour via a memory card, but you have to copy the file to the memory card and then to the above mentioned file of your Pocket PC.


 Memory cards

Pivique Astrology can also be executed out from memory cards like Compact Flash, SD Card, Multimedia Card and many more. Essentially the programme consists of one file pAstrology.exe which already contains all components (geographical database, etc.) you need.
 
Move this application to the memory card and then to the selected directory - next create a link within the same directory. Afterwards move the link to the directory

     /Windows/Start Menu,

in order to access the program via start menu.


Uninstall

If pivique Astrology has been installed via setup you will be able to remove it via the menu "Options/Remove Programs". Otherwise, simply delete the application from the directory in which you have it installed on your PDA.
